Position Summary
What you'll do This is a paid Summer Engineering Internship Program (mid-May to early August). As an intern with our Austin Software group, you'll work to assist in development of our autonomous underwater vehicle development program doing software development, algorithm development, and vehicle operation/testing. Additional responsibilities may include user documentation, testing and requirements gathering. Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You'll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations. ESSENTIAL * Carries out tasks as assigned by Project Manager and the Software Development Manager. Tasks would generally be software development, algorithm development, and documentation. Qualifications
REQUIRED * BS, MS or PhD candidate at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Robotics or equivalent DESIRED * Ability to work in a high-performance team on projects with constantly shifting schedules Equal Opportunity Employer
