Key Account Manager

As a Key Account Manager in the Sales Department at DSV, you will be responsible for managing and growing the company's relationships with key clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop customized solutions to meet their transportation and logistics requirements. You will also be responsible for meeting sales targets and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with key clients
  • Developing and implementing customized solutions to meet client transportation and logistics requirements
  • Meeting sales targets and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company
  • Conducting regular business reviews with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with other departments within the company to ensure seamless service delivery to key clients
  • Managing client contracts and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Providing regular sales reports to management



Educational background / Work experience



  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is required
  • A Master's degree in Business or Sales is preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in a sales or account management role, with a focus on transportation and logistics, is preferred



Skills & Competencies



  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of transportation and logistics regulations and laws is preferred



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience in managing key accounts in the transportation and logistics industry is preferred



Language skills



  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal



Computer Literacy



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $71,000 - $106,500 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
