Technical Asset Specialist III

Work Shift:

• Oversee the daily performance of computer systems to include (Windows 10/11, Mac, Android, iPad)

• Oversee the daily performance of MS Teams voice MACD

• Maintain and administer computer end user devices including computer hardware, applications software, and all other infrastructure support components

• Respond to inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems

• Follow up with computer users to ensure problems are fixed and a solution was provided to completion

• Provide primary onboarding for new hires devices, applications and permissions

• Conduct research, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support

• Maintain asset lifecycle records

• Troubleshoot device configuration problems for users or user group

• Participate in and lead device deployment and technology refresh projects

• Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and timeline Work in teams with other members of IS department, such as systems engineers and information analysts, to accomplish projects

• Requires 7x24 support under general direction and support of senior team members. On a rotating basis

• Must be willing and able to travel as required by the demands of the position

• Provide solutions to users for achieving higher levels of efficiency and productivity in business operations

• All other duties as assigned

• Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant technical experience and 3 years of lifecycle management experience.

• Responsible for ensuring that all support requests are properly prioritized and resolved.

• Proactive monitoring, upgrading equipment, patch management, performance tuning, availability.

• Responsible for Coordinating all technical needs within the area of responsibility between the business and other I/S teams.

• Developed interpersonal skills required to effectively interact with internal and external contacts as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to take direction from superiors and contribute to departmental discussions regarding problem solving required.

• Requires the ability to work in a team environment efficiently and effectively.

• Nature of position requires ability to organize/prioritize duties and give attention to detail and accuracy in execution of duties.

• Must have demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions involving highly complex situations.

• Demonstrated ability to create test plans with various operational and support groups in IS.

• Able to train others in support responsibilities and troubleshooting processes.

Education Requirements:

• BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

• Relevant technical or industry experience will also be considered.

• Certifications: MCSE, COMPTIA, CCNA, A+ or equivalent experience.
