We are seeking an experienced, analytical and motivated Supervisor, Fulfillment Operations to lead a team of Pharmacy Technicians in the Mesa, AZ office. In this fast-paced role, you would manage Pharmacy Technicians to oversee and direct pharmacy set up of initial supplies and workflow processes. Position will ensure productivity of initial automation line testing and work to improve current processes. *** Hours would be Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm and Fridays from 8:00am-12:00pm ***

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Lead and be accountable for a team of Fulfillment Pharmacy Staff to process prescription orders through Fulfillment and Inventory Operations
  • Completes Pharmacy operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
  • Leads efforts in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Provides leadership for training and development of team
  • Monitors individual and team performance to ensure team is meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Provides inspirational leadership and guidance to the team through feedback, performance management and individual development conversations
  • Diagnose process improvement opportunities and partner with Senior leadership to drive continuous improvement
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  • Liaise with suppliers and transport companies
  • Plan work rotations, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly
  • Obtain and maintain all licensures and training as required by company, state, and federal guidelines
  • Maintain necessary certifications and training to operate fulfillment equipment (forklifts, automation, etc.)
  • Act as resource and leader for entire team
  • Own and complete more advanced projects as required or directed by site leadership

Required Qualifications:



  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in a fulfillment, manufacturing or warehouse production setting.
  • Experience driving continuous improvements and implementing change in an organization
  • Experience driving results through effective Performance Management practices and tools
  • Experience working in a production environment
  • Proficient computer and organizational skills with the ability to focus on workload and achievement of both production and quality objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to work the required hours, but also requires flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to demonstrate creating a culture of collaboration, recognition, inclusiveness and diversity
  • Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Demonstrated ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
  • Proven good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven solid teamwork and cooperation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work the required hours, but also the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as necessary
  • Willing to obtain a pharmacy tech in training license asap if hired if doesn't already have a AZ Pharm Tech license active.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Pharmacy Practice and/or Health System regulatory and compliance experience
  • Supervisory experience within a pharmacy production environment
  • Experience producing document routine reports and correspondence



The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
