Overview:

Connection Services has a fantastic opportunity for a Network Administrator in Carrollton, TX offering a competitive salary including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays, and professional development opportunities.

Someone with 5+ years’ experience. We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, Microsoft applications, and data center operations, with the ability to manage and support our network infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage the organization's network infrastructure.
  • Configure and maintain Group Policies to ensure secure and efficient system operations.
  • Provide comprehensive support for all Microsoft applications, including both desktop and cloud-based solutions.
  • Offer desktop support to end-users, addressing technical issues and ensuring system performance.
  • Manage and maintain Exchange 2016 and/or Exchange Online hybrid environments.
  • Oversee Active Directory administration, including user and group management, authentication, and security policies.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of data center facilities, including server maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer Citrix Virtual Desktops and Apps to support remote work and virtualization needs.
  • Manage SharePoint Online for effective collaboration and document management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7–12 years of relevant experience in network administration.
  • Expertise in networking, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and firewall management.
  • Strong experience with Group Policies and Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft apps, both desktop and cloud based.
  • Proven experience in desktop support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Hands-on experience with Exchange 2016 and/or Exchange Online hybrid environments.
  • Expertise in data center operations, including server maintenance and patching.
  • Experience with Citrix Virtual Desktops and Apps.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Online administration.



Preferred (a plus):



  • SCVMM, SCCM, Microsoft Intune.
