What We Need:
We are looking for a Director, Digital Business Partner to join our HNI team.
Reporting to the Vice President, Business Transformation & ERP, the Director, Digital Business Partner is designed to serve as the strategic interface with functional leadership for the purpose of business technology strategy development and solution discovery to deliver effective business capabilities that meet the needs of HNI, specifically related to Legal, Finance, and Human Resources.
What You Will Do:
  • Act as a trusted technology leader providing guidance, consultation, and influence on business strategy related to technology solutions for Finance, Law, and Member & Community Relations (Human Resources).
  • Assist business leaders to shape their strategies regarding technology solution implementations and product adoptions into an aligned IT strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a technology roadmap which supports business needs, business requests, and IT delivery functions, ensuring successful adoption across functional areas.
  • Manage progress against the roadmap by coordinating with cross-functional teams and partners.
  • Analyze relevant information and present recommendations to senior leadership creating a shared vision of technology solutions that facilitate decision making.
  • Be constantly aware of evolving solutions and technologies and their applicability to the business and IT portfolio.
  • Oversee all aspects of people leadership; setting expectations, coaching, mentoring and developing to create an efficient and effective team.
  • Collaborate with key IT members and leaders to support cross functional initiatives and explore IT efficiencies.

What You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive IT experience that includes proven success in a leadership capacity managing business relationships and gaining business/IT alignment
  • Experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion implementation in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of:
    • ADP, Oracle HCM and ERP Financials (EBS and Fusion), UKG (Kronos) and other HRIS and financial applications
  • IT operational experience with solution delivery methodologies such as waterfall and agile.

  • Ability to operate and communicate at a strategic level yet focus on details to drive successful execution and deliver value
  • Strong facilitation skills to effectively guide the business to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions as needed
  • Ability to decompose problems and opportunities when they may not be clearly defined.
