National Strategic Customer Manager

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a National Strategic Customer Manager.

The National Strategic Customer Manager increases the customer base / volume of Sunbelt's Strategic Customer Program, with a concentration on a specified customer base. Develop and oversee the strategy and customer agreements and manage the team of strategic sellers servicing this space. Involves, the coordination of sales calls with local, regional or national sellers on Strategic Customers within the defined space. Additionally, requires development of relationships with the targeted Strategic Customers within their assigned territory with the goal of becoming the "first call" with these customers. This role will also manage team performance of Regional Strategic Customer Managers servicing the space.

This role requires extensive local and overnight travel.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6-8+ years in Outside Sales or Sales Management role
  • Ability and willingness to travel 75% to 85%

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

  • Ability to incorporate the Specialty Businesses into their presentations and product offerings
  • May work remotely from home or from the local Sunbelt PC's so no relocation required
  • Wynne RentalMan experience preferred but not required

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Base Pay Range: $99,973.00 - 137,462.60

Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust commission plan.

Sunbelt also provides a comprehensive benefits package to its full-time employees. This package includes health, dental and vision plans, 401(k), volunteer time off, short-term and long-term disability, accident, life and travel insurance, as well as flexible spending, tuition reimbursement, college savings, EAP and length of service awards. You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following time off from work, subject to Sunbelt's policies: twelve to twenty-five vacation days depending on years of service; five sick days; six paid holidays, two paid half day holidays, two floating holidays, one inclusion day, and one volunteer day (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement).
