Overview
Part time 19 hours per week No evenings, weekends or holidays! Missouri Cancer Associates is a multi-specialty practice including medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology and urology. We have 22 providers and service ten Missouri communities. Our main office is in Columbia. Through state-of-the-art medical technology, highly experienced physicians and nurse practitioners and quality patient care, Missouri Cancer Associates has become the premier Cancer Treatment Center in Mid-Missouri. In 2022, we celebrated our 40th year of taking care of patients! We are looking for a friendly and hard-working Patient Services Coordinator/ Call Center to join our team. You will utilize our electronic medical records for messaging and attaching scanned documents to patient charts. Will log FMLA/Disability forms for provider completion. Will complete releases of medical records information to persons or agencies according to State and Federal regulations. Will mail or fax forms and contact patient once completed, answering all incoming calls, you will be responsible for, taking messages and routing messages to appropriate staff members, may need to help schedule/ reschedule simple appointments and all new patients. Candidates should have an outgoing and friendly demeanor, a positive work ethic, and have a track record of working well with others in a team environment. We prefer applicants who have some customer service experience, but we are willing to train the right person. You must always exemplify the values of our company and provide patients with the highest levels of care. Part time 19 hours per week (M-F, 10:00am - 2:00pm Why work for us? SCOPE Under direct supervision, position will be answering incoming calls, taking messages and routing messages to appropriate staff members, schedule/ reschedule simple appointments and all new patients. You will utilize our electronic medical records for messaging and attaching scanned documents to patient charts. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
