Maintain total quality management activities in line with SWEP's policies and targets. Drive and coordinate corrective/improvement activities in cooperation with other departments.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for establishing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the requirements of International Standards.
* Establish, update and maintain all related documents required by key standards of but not limited to QMS, , PED, UL, ISO and ASME and other local laws and regulations and in line with SWEP's quality requirements and key goals.
* Manage the claim process and ensure timely reporting with investigation, containment and corrective action through claim handling system.
* Act as the coordinator for product certification/approval, third-party quality system assessment, including customer audits.
* Participate in the review, disposition and investigation of product, process, and system non-conformity, including incoming material(s) and component(s) from other SWEP plants or external suppliers.
* Reporting to top management on the performance of quality management system for review, including recommendations for improvement.
* Facilitate and drive quality, safety, and continuous improvement projects. Ensure an effective internal audit system in place.
* Conduct quality awareness training/quality related programs to all levels concerned in the organization, including shop floor production personnel and quality inspectors.
* Authority to stop process or shipment if evidence of nonconformity; scrap material or BPHE if evidence of nonconformity; and stop production took in case of evidence of nonconforming tool introduction.
* Determines recall of products from the warehouse or customer when there is objective evidence of widespread defective units
* Assist is Supplier evaluations for material and components.
* Ensure identified measuring instruments are properly calibrated according to the recommended timeline and frequencies.
* Lead, supervise, direct and monitor the team in the Quality Department. Train and improve their capability and skills as necessary.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline.
* Minimum 7 years working experience in related job functions in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years as in a managerial position.
* Experience in an ISO certified (EMS & QMS) manufacturing environment.

* Proven leadership experience and capability.
* Written and verbal communication in a clear and concise manner across all levels in the organization.
* Good team spirit and well-developed interpersonal skills.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and provide solutions/conclusions.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, Internet and Email
* Ability to self-motivate and possess independent problem solving
* Positive attitude and committed to achieving business excellence.
* This position does not require the use of or skill for operating powered industrial vehicles.
