Summary of Position/Purpose:

The Compliance Analyst will provide administrative support in a complex fast-paced environment. The Compliance Analyst will support several highly confidential and comprehensive activities by rendering departmental and practice-ready assistance to the Company, in all stages of compliance related tasks.


Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:

  • Proactively facilitate administrative support related to regulatory compliance and confidential legal matters.
  • Assist in mitigating risks related to International Trade, Customs, and Export Administration by conducting Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Denied Parties List risk analysis
  • Evaluate regulatory updates across regions and ensure compliance with existing and new products.
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of data required for compliance reporting, ensuring adherence to EPA or other regulatory agency guidelines, including but not limited to EU directives (e.g., RoHS, REACH), US regulations (e.g., TSCA, OSHA, EPA), and global standards.
  • Collect, review, and analyze Conflict Minerals Reporting Templates (CMRTs) and other supplier-provided documentation to ensure compliance with conflict minerals regulations.
  • Organize and update corporate records, contracts, and all other legal, and or compliance, documentation.
  • Manage Regulatory Compliance Calendar with filing requirement deadlines and issue- specific alerts.
  • Advise Legal staff on Regulatory Compliance Calendar deadlines, renewals, and seasonal requirements.
  • Correspond with suppliers, customers, and employees in a professional and effective manner.
  • Maintain general understanding of corporate policies and handle certain routine tasks independently.
  • Act as an administrative back-up in responding to routine customer requests from Company locations.
  • Indirectly responsible for ensuring product quality.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent academic and or work experience required.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a corporate compliance or law firm environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to accuracy, and detail-oriented, with sound judgment, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of effectiveness and efficiency under important deadlines.
  • Self-starter with excellent anticipation, problem solving and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated dependability and sense of urgency while exhibiting objective results.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
