Your Mission: Leadership, Growth, and Innovation

As a Water Program Director, you will:

    Ignite Growth: Build and expand Woolpert's SSES and wastewater collection system evaluation services, while driving business opportunities in I/I management, asset management and regulatory compliance.

  • Drive Results: Lead business development efforts with state, and local agencies, including water authorities and sewer districts.

Responsibilities

  • Regional sales and growth of our SSES and water/wastewater services through the establishment or expansion of client relationships.
  • Work across Water Market to develop business opportunities and assure services are performed in a manner compatible with Woolpert's goal of being an industry leader.
  • Build and enhance existing client relationships to identify and initiate additional project opportunities within the client base for SSES and water/wastewater services.
  • Identify and build new client relationships that match the client and project type focus and overall business strategy.
  • Promote Woolpert as an industry leader for SSES and water/wastewater services with new and existing clients.
  • Performing negotiation of project schedule, fee, scope, and contract terms.
  • Lead business development opportunities and ensure services are delivered in a manner that meet and exceed our client's expectations.
  • Represent Woolpert at industry events, conferences, organizations, and strategic client centric events.
  • Define and communicate the project scope to ensure understanding of client needs and expectations. Identify key deliverables, set measurable objectives, establish timelines, and detail all requirements for successful completion. Maintain open communication with the client to manage expectations and address changes or concerns promptly.
  • Support team building and the recruitment of water professionals.
  • Assist Project Managers in client negotiations and in the development of project scope, schedule, fee, and contract terms.
  • Work with Project Managers to identify, address and resolve any project issues impacting client goals, objectives and client satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • BA/BS and 16 years related experience, MA/MS and 14 years related experience or 20 years related industry experience.
  • Candidate must have business development sales acumen and project management skills.
  • Experience in building client relationships with local and state agencies.
  • Experience with leading collaborative teams
  • Must be able to make sound decisions/recommendations based on the evaluation and synthesis of information and data.
  • Must demonstrate an enterprising, innovative, proactive management approach.
  • Must possess high levels of demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Must possess excellent presentation and communication (oral and written) skills
  • Must have Microsoft Office suite skills.
  • Must be able to travel (25-30%) as required to meet the needs and demands of the Market.
