Overview

To support the mission of Helio Health, the HIT Digital Adoption Specialist will provide support, maintenance and integrity of the organization's Health Information Technology system. Under administrative direction, the Digital Adoption Specialist will support the Digital Adoption Platform's system administration as required. This will include managing user licenses, system cleanup, auditing and reporting.

Pay Rate: $70,000 - $85,000 per year

In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible to receive a Sign-On Incentive up to $1,500!

Working Relationships:

    Reports to the HIT Director and keeps them informed of workload.
  • Works with internal staff on a daily basis and collaborates with program leadership.


Responsibilities

  • Understands workflow and assists users in leveraging the systems to support and inform high quality care.
  • Develops mastery of the organization's HIT systems, with a concentration on the DAP in order to provide ongoing support for all users.
  • Supports the HIT help desk to resolve system or user issues.
  • Maintains working relationships with the application and system vendors.
  • Continuous support implementing system upgrades, patches and enhancements.
  • Oversees and supports the DAP, leveraging the embedded analytics platform to report and monitor staff utilization of the Electronic Health Record and any potential training needs or gaps in processes.
  • Creates and updates forms and corresponding reports within the EHR system.
  • Maintains the Agency Defined Documents libraries.
  • Continuous analysis of the HIT systems with focus on workflow development and optimization.
  • Collaborates with the HIT Applications Specialist to complete projects and update workflows in our DAP.
  • Supports the department by providing rotational "On-Call" support.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data/Statistics, Clinical, Medical or related field is preferred.
  • Three years of related experience in a healthcare or clinical setting and/or HIT experience required.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of privacy laws, workflows, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Salary and hourly compensation offers are based on candidate's education level and experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager and program.
