Position Description

US FUSION & Specialty Construction

General Description:

Responsible for marketing, promoting and profitably selling products and services to existing and potential customers.

Essential Functions:

1. Develop relationship with customers to ascertain and meet their needs / requirements.

2. Seeks out prospective customers/business opportunities with new and existing customers.

3. Provides customers with accurate and timely proposals / estimates.

4. Follows-up on all generated quotations to assure that the customer is being serviced and to document the outcome of the proposed solution.

5. Marketing skills to assist with social media post.

6. Generate profitable sales orders.

7. Ability to negotiate a sale.

8. Understand and continuously self-educate on products and market.

9. Develop relationships with vendors to ascertain product knowledge, information and appropriate pricing.

10. Manage customer orders from start to finish - Includes aspects such as establishing customer accounts, making sure products arrive on time, invoicing, etc.

11. Stay current on existing and emerging product and technologies.

12. Develops an effective and productive working relationship with Inside Sales Associates and support personnel; encourages and assists in their training and development when possible.

13. Executes sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, assuring a favorable impression of self and the company.

14. Maintains a professional/working image in self and work environment including vehicle.

15. Fulfills customer needs for current literature, catalogs, product pricing, etc.

16. Reports competitive conditions and feedback from customers to management.

17. Participates in other duties as assigned by the Business Development Manager

Position Requirements

Qualification Standards:

1. High School Graduate

2. A valid driver's license, insurance and proven safe driving record.

3. Some sales or marketing experience (preferably in pipe & fittings)

4. Proficient in M.S. Office software package (emphasis on Excel)

5. Proficient in any social media driven marketing software.

6. Ability to use standard office equipment including computers, photocopiers, facsimile machines, and printers.

7. Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask.

8. Excellent phone etiquette

9. Critical thinking / problem solving skills.

10. Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.

11. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including sales presentations, demonstrated capability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work in a team environment.

12. Developed knowledge of the industry within a given market.

13. Conveys a professional and positive image and attitude regarding US Fusion
