Click for a complete list of Employee Benefits. UIC is seeking a Data Center Operations (DCO) Technician to join our Technology Solutions team. This role will support the DCO team by operating several mission-critical data center spaces at UIC that serve enterprise and research computing needs for Central IT and departmental units across the University of Illinois System. This position will monitor data center activities and infrastructure, and respond to incidents and requests accordingly. In addition to serving as an on-site liaison for service providers, this position will assist with data center asset management, inventory, and server hardware installation. The DCO Technician must possess the flexibility to work off hours to achieve responsibilities, work well in a team environment, and complete individual assignments efficiently.
