About the role:
This role will support sales resources, client relationship resources and prospects through the coordination, management, development and production of sales proposals and related documentation in alignment with FIS sales and financial goals.

About the team:

The RFP Support team manages the creation of top-quality, comprehensive responses. As a centralized unit of professional proposal managers, we are committed to supporting FIS' global sales organization. We create professional, FIS-branded documents that stand out from our competition. Our skills include project management, executive summaries, communication, and proficiency with online sourcing tools. Our process is meticulously refined and documented, adhering to the standards set by the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) and Shipley.

What you will be doing:

*3-+ years' experience required in Proposal Management in the fintech industry (preferred but not required)

* Collaborates with sales resources to determine necessary resources and set timeframes for sales deliverables related to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and other sales proposals.
* Coordinates and manages internal resources during the proposal process to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
* Exercises good judgment in the course of performing solution activities, understanding and executing escalation procedures wisely.

* Is familiar with FIS and its various businesses and uses knowledge when managing sales processes.

* Reflects existing and proposed solutions in generating single application new and renewal sales business cases for sales resources and management to use in determining sales strategy and understanding impact on the organization.

* Extensive professional experience in a fast-paced, multi-project financial technology environment

* Strong project management skills are required to support the RFP deliverables process

* Experience with Qvidian or other RFP content portal

* Experience in working in RFP online portals

* Strong communication skills with sales and product teams

* Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills

* Produces primary sales documents incorporating supplier inputs and related sales documentation, assembling them in a customer-ready state by personalizing documents and performing format, grammar, spelling and punctuation edits.
* Completes a sufficient quantity of assignments within timeframes as specified by the manager and other members of the sales team.
* Coordinates contract requests from legal for sales resources.
* Assists marketing and other subject matter experts on the development and maintenance of sales documentation.
* Maintains sales tasks with detailed notes in the enterprise contact management system to assist in bringing sales opportunities to closure.

What you will need:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. (High school diploma or GED required for job level I.) Typically requires three to five years of experience in sales support or related discipline.

* APMP certification (not required but nice to have or have some knowledge base)

* Shipley training (not required but nice to have or have some knowledge base)

* Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner
* Strong understanding of FIS business strategy and how products or initiatives contribute to FIS goals
* Basic knowledge of FIS product line(s) and ability to respond to corresponding sections of RFPs, RFIs and proposals and review supplier responses for accuracy
* Possesses good project management skills required to support the RFP process, renewal process and pricing process
* A basic knowledge of pricing strategies with an emphasis on value-based concepts
* General business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills
* Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools
* Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to understand and apply learned concepts
* Ability to use judgment in the decision-making process and decisions related to job tasks
* Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Exceptional interpersonal skills: establishing personal and professional relationships among diverse internal and external publics
* Good understanding of financial concepts, tools and systems required for completing sales proposals and sales business cases
* Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
* Flexibility, versatility, dependability
* Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $62,170.00 - $101,340.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
