Cherry Picker - Night Shift

Job Posting:

The primary function of the Cherry Picker Operator is to stock storage racks and remove product from rack as needed to ensure product is accessible in the distribution center.

Job Description

Palletize freight, manually load/unload boxes.

Operates forklift /cherry picker to load and unload freight and manually sorts as needed

Responsible for putting cartons into and removing from storage racks that are up to 30 feet high.

Operate cherry picker in a safe and efficient manner

Perform daily inspections of high pay and change battery as needed.

Education/ Experience

Years of related experience - 1 year Plus

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Skills

Must be able to pass a written and driving cherry picker operator test

Must be able to read pertinent information in English on a RF device and cartons

Must have a high regard for quality and attendance

Able to safely and efficiently operate a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently

Continuous standing required

Must be able to work from a platform that reaches 30 feet high

Typical Working Conditions

Will work around equipment, such as conveyors and rolling stock, which could contain hazards. Other exposures found in a distribution center such as high level of noise and dust may exist for this position.
