As a Sales Manager of Business Solution Team, you will play a pivotal role in the execution of Consolidated Communication's growth strategy. In your role you will oversee all aspects of sales execution, go-to-market strategy and growth planning.

The Business Sales Manager will have the drive, passion, and accountability for achieving and exceeding revenue and sales goals, while developing and building a strong sales team. You will engage with sales leadership and cross functional teams to impact change and promote a culture of performance and high-quality outcomes for our customers.

Responsibilities

Lead, Coach & Manage Sales Performance

  • Manage and report forecast, pipeline health, and monitor sales activity. Diagnose and take action to remediate performance gaps.
  • Directs and mentors Account Executives. Conduct regular One-on-One & team meetings, with a focus on coaching, motivation, strategy & sales performance accountability.
  • Attends customer meetings related to Consolidated business sales needs. Participates in pre-meeting planning, and post meeting debriefs. Provide coaching and feedback to sales team.

Recruit, Develop & Retain Sales Talent

  • Routinely network with potential candidates to generate interest and build a talent recruitment funnel.
  • Identify and diagnose development/training opportunities. Build development plans designed to maintain a high performance sales culture.
  • Motivate employees through shared goals, recognition and clear expectations. Create recognition plans for employees achieving the Company's business objectives.

Customer Relationships

  • Prioritize & establish Account Executive cadence with top customers and prospects
  • Build executive level relationships with top customers.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, customer retention, and other performance metrics. Collaborate with personnel in Consolidated to define and implement standards that ensures satisfactory response to customer concerns, and creates a high quality customer experience.

Cross Functional Relationships

  • Proactively build cross functional relationships. Defining mutual goals, expectations and regular updates.
  • Works with Sales Leadership to identify opportunities to improve processes, policies and sales performance.
  • Stays abreast of technology and market trends. Providing product and market feedback to internal teams to stay ahead of customer challenges and needs in order to drive revenue growth.
Qualifications

  • Technical training or knowledge: Previous sales management experience preferred. Working knowledge and good understanding of telecommunications products and services; ability to operate computer, various software programs. Knowledge of salesforce preferred.
  • Professional training or knowledge: Excellent communication skills. Must have ability to learn, understand and effectively explain the Company's rates, rules and regulations. Must possess project/time management skills.
  • Work experience: Minimum of six (6) years of previous sales experience required preferable in telecommunications or technology-based equivalents such as VoIP systems, UCaaS, Security, Wi-Fi, and network solutions., and three (3) years of supervisory experience working in a sales environment preferred.
  • License required: Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record
  • General education or equivalent: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Physical Demands: Physical demands are minimal and consistent with the performance of routine clerical duties in an office setting. Most of the day is spent sitting at a desk, working with computers, printers, files, and standard office equipment. Movement is required in the use of office equipment, supply locations, files, and other work locations and meeting rooms. Limited physical activity is required to file, maintain office supplies and materials and maintain office equipment.
