Maintenance Intern

We're looking for a Maintenance Summer Intern to join our American Ordnance team located in Middletown, IA. The internship tasks will include light duty summer work throughout the installation assisting the Facilities/Utilities department with various tasks inside and outside.

• Light duty maintenance activities.
• Minor maintenance repairs to facilities and fencing.
• Maintain vegetation control.
• Painting of fire hydrants, PI valves, etc.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.

• Knowledge of small equipment such as lawn mower, weedeater, paint/brushes.
• Observes safety practices and procedures; uses equipment properly.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work with other collectively.

• Currently enrolled in a college or university.
• Some mechanical/facility aptitude.
• Great attitude and team player.
• Successful completion of background screening process.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $19.00/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
