Evanston, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: WCAS Molecular Biosciences Assistant Professor of Instruction in Biological Sciences Northwestern University's Department of Molecular Biosciences invites applications for a full time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure eligible faculty appointment as Assistant Professor of Instruction, beginning September 1st, 2025. Duties include teaching six quarter-long undergraduate courses per academic year, or the equivalent in student advising, in the Biological Sciences major. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellence, breadth, and innovation in teaching. The successful candidate will exhibit strong interest in education scholarship and sharing of best teaching practices. We seek candidates with experience and teaching interests in Genetics, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Biostatistics, Genomics, Biochemistry and Biophysics, but these may vary based on the expertise of the candidate. Minimum qualifications include a PhD in Biology or a related field, which must be conferred by June 1st, 2025.
