This position offers excellent potential for career advancement as this individual would assist other senior staff in guiding transportation agencies throughout Maryland, DC and Virginia. The ideal candidate is an individual that possesses a vast understanding of civil design principles.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing professional design services for transportation and civil engineering projects
• Coordinating design development and assisting with technical direction to junior engineers.
• Coordinating with the design team to achieve quality deliverables within the established schedule and budget.
• Assisting with the development of specifications, cost estimates, reports and preparing final bid packages.
• Establishing working relationships and interfacing with client technical staff and project managers.
• Assisting with the preparation of technical and cost proposals.
• Attending project meetings with clients, sub-consultants, and the project team.

Required Skills:

• Bachelors' degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with site civil design is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCADD
• Experience with Geopak or Civil3D.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work on a team and communicate with clients.
