Duties and Responsibilities
Qiao Lab-
Supports research projects by performing lab assays and analysis. Carry out experiments as instructed by Principal Investigator (PI). Assists PI, research staff, and students with various lab procedures and projects and perform statistical analysis.
Performs analysis of biological literature, including analysis of primary scientific literature. Analysis requires familiarity with basic knowledge in microbiology, biochemistry, virology and immunology, and the ability to organize productive searches of scientific data bases.
Assist PI to prepare IACUC applications, grant applications, and manuscript applications.
Other duties:
- Maintains orderly records.
- Maintains a safe and orderly working environment.
- Ensures compliance with safety regulations.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Education Required: Bachelors Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
Preferred: Bachelors Degree
Experience Required: None
Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and zero-one year of related experience.
