Pay



  • $21.00 per hour
  • Bi-weekly Pay

Shifts



  • Orientation Week: Provided prior to start date
  • Schedule: 2-2-2 schedule
  • 12-hour shift, either Days 5:45am-6:00pm OR Nights 5:45pm-6:00am

Job Summary

Our Case Packer is responsible for providing support to production including picking, packing, assembly, sorting, verification, and quality control. Our Case Packers hand package food in displays or boxes to get it ready for shipment, delivery, and sales. They must follow all safety and quality guidelines. Case Packers complete all duties assigned by management and leadership.

Responsibilities



  • Visually inspect product and manually pack bags of product into boxes to get them ready for shipment.
  • Weighing, recording, and pushing totes of scrap popcorn and taking it to trash
  • Rework product as needed.
  • Fill out all paperwork completely, accurately, and timely (including first case verifications, changeover/sanitation paperwork, etc.)
  • Maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Following all company policies and procedures including safety, environmental, quality, and housekeeping requirements
  • Perform shutdown, start up, and changeover procedures.
  • Building displays, folding boxes as they come onto and off of the production line, packing bags of popcorn into boxes, and putting bags of popcorn onto displays.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment including sweeping and cleaning the area during down time
  • Standing for long periods of time throughout a shift
  • Following the direction of the plant leadership
  • Working in a team environment with integrity and commitment to the established processes and procedures and treat



Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality regulations and procedures in a food manufacturing facility
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
