Thank you for considering Progyny! We are recruiting for a Manager, FP&A - Technology for our Company. You will be supporting a team that provides forward-looking financial analysis and insights that support decision making and helps ensure alignment of planned actions and targets to company goals. This role is an integral member of the finance team and will partner cross functionally across the organization. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and will be skilled at building strong relationships across functions and levels throughout the organization and marshaling those resources to get things done. Not satisfied with a quick answer, they will demonstrate the professional curiosity to dig a bit deeper into the true driver of a situation. What you will do... Partner with the technology and product teams to align financial planning with company initiatives Forecast/Track capitalized payroll, and other Capex items to drive accurate financial reporting. Key contributor in the rollout of a new FP&A system, ensure a smooth implementation and drive stakeholder adoption. Support organization through financial and operational analytics. Identify and analyze operational problems and recommend effective solutions. Update various daily, monthly, quarterly reports for management review. Support executive and operational dashboards, maintain data integrity. Key contributor to the annual budgeting and forecasting process Optimize and maintain critical and sensitive data models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad hoc projects and reporting. Assist in preparation of presentation materials for executive team and board of directors. About you... 4-6 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis (preferably with a combination of financial accounting and reporting experience). Publicly traded company experience strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Strong Knowledge of accounting principles and core financial statements, more specifically as it pertains to capitalized software development and other capitalized payroll activities Ability to manipulate and understand large sets of data Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills Advanced Excel and Power BI skills together with strong data query experience and the ability to manipulate and interpret large sets of data. Experience with financial planning software use and/or implementation is preferred. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required.
