Medallion Stamp Coordinator

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

It is the responsibility of the Medallion Stamp Coordinator to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. The Medallion Stamp Coordinator will assist the Medallion Stamp Program Administrator with training new medallion stamp officers, maintaining the current list of medallion officers on The Source, completing weekly and yearly audits, reviewing and assisting medallion officers with gathering supporting documentation and completing medallion transactions. The Medallion Stamp Coordinator will work with the Medallion Stamp Program Administrator to understand the various forms, requirements and regulations of the SouthState Medallion Stamp Program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensures compliance with the SSB Medallion Stamp policy and program requirements.
  • Reviews and assists officers with medallion transactions.
  • Maintains a list of current Medallion officers and updates the Source as needed.
  • Assist new medallion officers to complete their certification training.
  • Updates medallion guidelines and procedures.
  • Reviews Kemark Financial weekly list of Medallion users and completes status changes as needed.
  • Conducts annual Medallion audit of all Medallion stamps and officers.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

  • Education: Minimum AA
  • Experience: Banking Experience a Must
  • Certifications/Specific Knowledge: None

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk. This position may require bending and reaching.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

For bank office: Winter Haven, Florida

For telecommuters or hybrid: Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.
