Position Summary:

The primary function of the Warehouse Lead is to oversee distribution processes, assist customers and suppliers, manage and supervise employees, and ensure that safety regulations are met.

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Assists and leads assigned activities associated with warehouse operations.
  • Responsible for managing the process of receiving, stocking, and quality control of all merchandise.
  • Oversee and coordinate maintenance of equipment.
  • Monitors performance and productivity to maximize operation excellence, which includes service, quality, and cost control.
  • Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy.
  • Responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating, facilitating, and managing all aspects of physical inventory and storage area.
  • Assist with determining staffing levels and assigning workload; include training of warehouse staff.
  • Maintain inventory controls through minimizing materials damage and ensuring order accuracy.



Basic Qualifications:



  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction industry and building materials.
  • 1-3 years of experience or more is preferred.

Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Will frequently move about inside the office and warehouse.
  • Must be able to lift heavy building materials up to 50 lbs. for loading/unloading.
  • Must be able to operate basic office machinery.
  • Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Constantly in a warehouse environment.

  • Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks.
  • Must be able to manage stress depending on tasks.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must be able to receive and analyze information.
  • Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement and initiative.
