THE JOB:

As a Barista, you will bring energy and enthusiasm to every shift, creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional beverage preparation and service. You'll operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, crafting beverages, handling transactions, and ensuring the workspace is clean and stocked. By mastering the art of personalized service, you'll help guests savor their coffee moments while enjoying a seamless experience.

THE STARTING RATE:$16.3097

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Prepare and serve beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, brewed coffee, and other menu items, following established recipes and quality standards.
• Handle cash transactions, accurately process payments, and follow proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including front and back of house areas.
• Restock inventory, unload and organize warehouse orders, and ensure all items are properly labeled and stored.
• Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints within your scope of authority, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and organizing the work area.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Strong ability to engage with guests in a positive, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Proficient in preparing basic coffee drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and brewed coffee.
• Comfortable with POS systems and handling cash accurately.
• Thrives in a high-volume environment, especially during convention seasons, while maintaining service quality during slower periods.
• Willing to learn, contribute to a positive team environment, and adapt to changing workflows.
• Ability to maintain a clean and orderly workspace, manage inventory, and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
