Our success is driven by our three core values:FAST - Respond quickly.EASY - Keep things simple.FUN - Be a great day maker.Position Summary:This role combines general labor responsibilities with an industrial safety liaison function. The primary focus will be on assisting with insulation, crating, and shipping tasks while maintaining safety compliance by conducting regular inspections and training.General Labor Responsibilities:Accurately measure interior dimensions of finished shells for curb products.Install insulation material, lifting lugs, foil tape, and labels according to CDI specifications.Operate tools such as glue guns, drills, sprayers, and pinspotters.Review welds, apply cold galvanizing spray paint, and ensure quality standards are met.Track and log work using a computer/tablet to ensure proper workflow.Measure finished products to determine critical dimensions and weights.Use various power tools to cut lumber for crating and assemble shipping skids/crates using pneumatic nail guns and chop saws.Load completed products onto trucks according to DOT, carrier, and CDI requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.Safety Liaison Responsibilities:Conduct required monthly and weekly safety/compliance inspections of the workplace, tools, and equipment.Lead quarterly safety training sessions for all employees, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.Provide new-hire safety training to onboard employees effectively.Test the facility's noise and air quality monthly to ensure a safe work environment.Inspect and maintain the functionality of fire extinguishers and eye wash stations regularly.Evaluate the workplace for potential hazards and actively present risks.Inspect tools and equipment to ensure safety features and guards are functional.Prepare detailed safety reports based on inspections and findings.Assist in developing and implementing workplace safety processes and protocols.
