Job Title: Subcontracts Administrator
Location: Remote to Reston, VA
Salary Range: $59,500 - $89,250
SUMMARY
Agile Defense is seeking a qualified individual to join our Procurement Department in support of our internal and government customers. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated aptitude for this work, and a strong motivation to learn and grow in the field of government contracting. This is an entry/mid-level position with an opportunity to advance in the Procurement career path.
The Subcontracts Administrator will perform pre-award and post-award activities such as, analyzing requirements, conducting conduct market research, recommending revisions to statements of work/specifications, determining the appropriate type of contract, establishing milestones, conducting procurement planning/competition, developing solicitations, evaluating quotes/proposals, and negotiating terms and conditions. This position will conduct award of purchase orders, post-award activities, which include coordinating with vendors to ensure full understanding of terms, handling modifications, and resolution of issues.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain compliant procurement files.
* Coordinate with Contracts and Finance Departments in administering procurement invoicing and payments, procurement audit/filing, and closeout process.
* Ensure the management of subcontract file(s), including preparation and control of all modifications and correspondence.
* Interface and coordinate with vendor/subcontractor, and internal department personnel.
* Maintain a filing system and be responsible for correspondence on procurement matters.
* Process and negotiate NDAs and Teaming Agreements.
* Assist with data calls and support proposal efforts.
* Prepare and execute subcontracts incorporating flow-downs and other contractual requirements.
* Other responsibilities as required.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES
* This is a non-supervisory position
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
* BS/BA degree in Business Administration or equivalent with at least 2 years of job-related experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
* Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
* Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
* Experience negotiating Terms and Conditions (e.g., negotiating NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Consulting Agreements, etc.)
* Strong analytical skills
* Detail-oriented
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
* Detail and results-oriented with the ability to produce highly quality and accurate work products.
Preferred Skills
* Familiarity with DCMA Contractor Purchase System Reviews (CPSR) preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions
* Remote position with 0%-10% travel possible. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
* Some travel to Agile Defense HQ location may be required.
Strength Demands
* Sedentary - 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
