Overview

LMI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to support Facilities and Infrastructure Support Services within the United States Postal Service (USPS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and completing projects from inception to completion, overseeing all aspects, and ensuring timely delivery. This role involves setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress while maintaining open communication with upper management. Candidate must be in National Capital Region.

Responsibilities

You will be supporting a program involving planning, leasing, purchasing, repairs, and alterations to facilities that house postal operations. Responsibilities include:

    Oversee all aspects of projects including the coordination and completion of projects.
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project.
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.
  • Be familiar with a variety of the real property field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Provide extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Lead and direct the work of others.
  • Exercise creativity and flexibility in problem-solving and project execution.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Occasional travel (CONUS) may be required.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • A strong customer-centric approach to executing projects
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), MSTeams and Sharepoint
  • Ability to obtain USPS Public Trust Clearance

Preferred:

  • Experience with USPS
  • Experience with USPS facilities and real property related tools, process and databases
  • USPS Public Trust holder

Target salary range: $119,000 - $211,000
