Overview LMI has an immediate need for a User Experience (UX) Researcher/Designer to join a fast-paced, collaborative team environment supporting mission-critical projects. This role combines a deep understanding of user behavior with innovative design thinking to craft seamless experiences that drive impactful results. Our team dives headfirst into solving complex problems, designing frictionless user experiences, and delivering products that make an impact. From wireframes to research deep dives, we're focused on creating intuitive, mission-critical tools for DoD users. Responsibilities We're looking for a User Experience Researcher/Designer who knows how to connect the dots between user needs, technical constraints, and product vision. You'll work directly with end-users, dig into their pain points, and design solutions that truly resonate. You'll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to shape the user experience from initial discovery to final delivery. If you love digging into the details, thrive in ambiguity, and can translate research insights into clean, elegant designs, we want you on our team. What You'll Do
Understand the Mission: Get hands-on with end users to uncover their challenges, workflows, and aspirations. Translate these insights into actionable design solutions.
