| IS4S is seeking highly skilled and motivated engineers and technicians to support multiple integrated designs for Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing (A-PNT) and Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in the designing computing and processing architectures that enable implementation of advanced signal processing algorithms. 
 Candidates are expected to have experience with embedded system design, including those involving FPGAs, Arm processors, microprocessors, and efficient memory utilization.

 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 Develop embedded architectures utilizing FPGAs, CPUs, and GPUs that enabling efficient processing and data transfer between components and across DRAMSupport implementation of software defined radios, to include software defined GPS/GNSS receivers, digital antenna electronics, and transmitters.Conduct feasibility studies, analysis, and simulation for new designs, ensuring compliance with military standards and requirements.Understand and support implementation of industry standards within embedded systems, such as VITA and VPXDesign test scripts and protocols to ensure and maintain implementation functionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.Generate detailed hardware specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts for advanced hardware boards.Perform prototype testing, troubleshooting, and validation of RF and power electronics systems.Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
 
 Basic Qualifications:
 
 
 
 Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.Proficient skills in relevant development languages including VHDL/Verilog and C/C++ and development environments (e.g., AMD Vivado/Vitis).Experience with FPGA communication standards, including AXI, Ethernet, SPI, I2CWorking knowledge of Unix operating systemsUnderstanding of software defined radiosFamiliarity with military standards and specifications related to hardware design.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.U.S. citizenship per 8 U.S.C. 1324(a)(2)(C) and ability to obtain a security clearance.
 
 Preferred Skills:
 
 
 
 Five (5) years of professional experienceFamiliarity with SoC architectures such as the AMD Zynq and Ultrascale family of productsProficiency with AMD Vivado/Vitis development environmentsExperience with designing and developing real-time digital signal processors (e.g., digital filters) for RF/IF data.Unix proficiency to include experience with scripting, modifying/developing embedded Unix kernels and device trees.Experience with embedded C/C++ development in bare metal and RTOS environmentsFamiliar and comfortable with testbench development in FPGA fabric and embedded C/C++ testing and debuggingApplied experience with commercial or tactical RF and antennas, GPS/GNSS, communications, or EW.Experience with RF and signal test equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, VNAs, and signal generators.Understanding of military use cases and integration into military systems.
