Press Break Operator (1st shift)

We are currently seeking a Press Break Operator (1^st Shift) at our Eastford, CT Facility.

Position entails general sheet metal fabrication including:

• Set up, program and operate press brakes independently
• Perform set up inspection and buy-off for less skilled operators.
• Straighten parts to B/P specifications
• Assembles product as required using rivets and rivet gun
• Inspect own work using basic inspection equipment
• Able to train other less skilled employees
• Continuously improves efficiency and quality of others' work
• Provide Leadership to the department
• Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc. according to Company policy.
• Maintains area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets.
