Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Distribution Channel Manager for the North American market to join our Field Forensic Division. This role will report directly to the VP of Sales and will be responsible for managing distributors and driving sales of our ProtectIR and ThreatID FTIR product lines.

Key Responsibilities



  • Manage and develop relationships with existing distributors in North America
  • Identify and onboard new distribution channels for market expansion
  • Collaborate closely with outside and inside sales teams to create and close sales opportunities
  • Navigate complex business-to-government sales processes
  • Develop and implement strategies to extend existing channels into new markets
  • Identify new market opportunities and create appropriate channel strategies
  • Provide regular performance reports and market insights to senior management
  • Coordinate product training and support for distribution partners
  • Create an onboarding plan for new channels
  • Represent 908 Devices at industry events and trade shows

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in channel management, preferably in the forensic or scientific instrument industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through channel partners
  • Experience with business-to-government sales processes
  • Strong understanding of the North American market for forensic and first responder equipment
  • B2G experience sales and marketing experience
  • State and local government funding knowledge / familiarity
  • Knowledge of mass spectrometry and/or FTIR technology
