JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: We are searching for talented, experienced, and highly motivated Research Data Management Specialist to join our Algorithms, Prototyping and Integration (API) Department within the Communications, Information and Navigation Office (CINO) at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University. ARL's purpose is to research and develop innovative solutions to challenging scientific, engineering, and technology problems in support of the Navy, the Department of Defense (DoD), and the Intel Community (IC). You will assist in providing our customers with state-of-the-art visualization and decision support software based solutions. This position will be located in either State College, Pennsylvania or Reston, Virginia and will report to the API Department Head. The Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University serves as a national center of excellence for advanced capabilities in science and technology research. ARL provides technical innovations and solutions to real-world problems in national security, economic competitiveness and quality of life.As a designated University-Affiliated Research Center (UARC), ARL Penn State maintains a special long-term strategic relationship with DoD which has allowed us to support the nation for over 75 years with basic and applied research to address challenging problems in support of national security.
