JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is searching for a Hydrodynamics Engineer to foster and support growth of vehicle control capabilities within the Fluid Dynamics Division, part of the Fluid Dynamics and Acoustics Office, which has a long, successful history of providing innovative solutions and technology for a range of U.S. Government and industry sponsors. This position will support the design, testing and analysis of vehicle control systems and software for marine vehicles as well as related applications such as turbomachinery and rotorcraft aerodynamics. Mentorship and business development will be significant components of this position. This position may be filled as either a non-tenure Research Faculty or a Research and Development Engineer. Your working location will primarily be located in State College, PA, with possibility of some hybrid work. This position will require some off-site travel and off-site work.
