Responsibilities

    Lead and Develop QC Team: Manage Quality Control scientific staff to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. Oversee the development and performance of the QC team, ensuring high service quality and operational efficiency. Provide decisive leadership in employment decisions, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and terminations.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QC organization by optimizing technologies, implementing innovative work processes, and achieving cost reductions. Spearhead efforts to enhance QC processes through the optimization of technologies and the implementation of innovative work methods. Focus on achieving cost reductions while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Oversee Quality Documentation: Manage quality system documentation of records, forms, manuals, and instructions. Ensure the generation, approval, and maintenance of GMP documents. Oversee audits and testing to guarantee compliance with quality standards, and effectively communicate quality objectives to Senior Management.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years' experience, including 4 or more years' supervisory experience or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing quality control systems and documentation.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement innovative work processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in conducting audits and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Ability to provide guidance on SOPs, work instructions, and department policies.
  • Expertise in supporting new product introduction (NPI) activities and troubleshooting existing products.


Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $135,000 to $155,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program.
