What The Role Is:

Responsible for compiling and reviewing documentation as part of the builder review process and handling modification/conversion functions for Construction Perm and Renovation Perms loans.

How You will Make an Impact: Majority of duties performed, but not meant to be all inclusive.




  • Manage a pipeline of closed construction loans to complete conversion and modification functions of Construction Perm and Renovation Perm loans.
  • Ensures timely conversion of closed loans from the construction phase to the permanent phase, quality of files, and compliance with established bank and investor guidelines.
  • Collects fees and other costs from the borrower at conversion as needed.
  • Prepares and submits file to underwriting for a credit decision as needed.
  • Manages a pipeline of Builder Registration files. Compiles documentation, completes tasks, and submits to CP management for review.
  • Responsible for maintaining Builder Registration.
  • Reviews project documentation, such as contracts, plans, and specs, to ensure requirements are met. Works with sales and operations to resolve any outstanding deficiencies.
  • Works with internal and external parties on a regular basis.



Who You Are



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year mortgage, construction lending operations, or similar experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to effectively analyze and process simple issues and develop appropriate solutions. Must be able to apply reasoning to variables in different situations.
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and to complete multiple tasks as needed.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, policies and procedures, preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to read and interpret correspondence, documents, policy and procedures.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Teams, and Excel) and Google suite of products (Gmail, Google Sheets, Docs, Slides). Experience with LoanServ and Encompass a plus.
  • Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as amounts owed, discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to work well with others to deliver an exceptional loan experience for all parties involved in the transaction.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Works cooperatively with others.


Remote within Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas.
