Due to growth, JRAD has an immediate need for a Junior Contracts/Subcontracts Administrator in a telework position. Some travel to/from meetings in the Maryland and Virginia area is required. Geographic preference for candidates is Richmond, VA or Stafford, VA.

Summary of duties: Assist the corporate Contracts Manager in administering Federal Government contracts in the areas of financial analysis, compliance with terms, conditions and regulations and processing of cost components and invoicing.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with development of spend plans, ceiling/funding analysis and invoicing for contracts and subcontracts
  • Perform data entry in systems including, but not limited to, Costpoint, WAWF and SharePoint
  • Ensure compliance with monthly reporting, invoicing, status updates and contract deliverables
  • Coordinate with Program Management staff, teaming partners and Government clients
  • Perform routine tasking including financial reviews, contract modification processing, accounts payable entry and accounts receivable entry
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Education:

  • Baccalaureate degree in business related field of study preferred; must possess a High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year of experience in administering, or assisting in administering contracts and/or subcontracts in support of the U.S. Department of Defense or Department of Homeland Security
  • General understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other contract compliance requirements
  • Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint
  • Ability to work in a remote, team environment with exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with minimal supervision

Security Clearance:

  • Must be capable of obtaining a DoD secret security clearance
