We're an award-winning IT solutions provider to the Federal government. We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team.

US Citizenship is required for this role. In addition, the selected applicant must submit to a government background investigation and be favorably adjudicated before their first day.

This hybrid position will require 2 day of client-site work weekly. Applicants must reside within a commutable distance of Washington, D.C.

The Project Coordinator performs organizational and administrative duties to support government leadership tasks and projects. This role requires some analysis and the use of initiative and independent judgment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Manage a daily briefing book for leadership that includes key meetings, initiatives, top priorities, issues, risks, and overall organization status.
  • Coordinate management activities, resources, and information.
  • Communicate with teams to identify key requirements, scope, objectives, and challenges that must be escalated to leadership.
  • Manage events for leadership, including arranging appointments, travel, meetings, conference calls, etc.
  • Remain knowledgeable of organizational policies and procedures and be able to track activities against policies and procedures.
  • Maintain information in a sensitive, complex, and confidential manner.
  • Update information using MS Office applications.
  • Monitor project and task progress and handle issues that arise.
  • Work as part of a team with project owners to identify accomplishments, plans, and constraints.
  • Conduct research as needed
  • Understand and respond to obstacles and challenges and propose solutions.
  • Ability to develop, follow, and improve business processes
  • Help identify change management and training opportunities.
  • Provide organizational and strategic planning for a wide variety of business areas.
  • Conduct business analysis and project coordination duties.


REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:



  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience with 1-2 years providing administrative support for a senior-level federal client or executive leadership.
  • Excellent skills with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with common office tools such as messaging tools, intranet, and electronic task boards.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and grammar, both written and spoken
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to provide details and summarize for an executive-level audience.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting federal government customers.


PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:



  • Project Coordination and Management
  • Experience working within an Information Technology organization or team


EDUCATION:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience may be substituted for a degree.
