Document Management Business Analyst

About the Role:

Reporting to the head of the Document Management Group (DMG) in New York with a dotted line oversight with Exela's Account Director, this role will support the global DMG team across all service lines. You will support multiple high value, high visibility transformational projects that support the change agenda for the Document Management Group. Typical projects span a range of areas including digitization, automation, risk & control, and operating efficiencies. To deliver these projects, you will partner with the business managers, engineering, finance and procurement. In addition to project management support, a significant portion of this role will be responsible for data entry into the Firms reporting databases as well as data analysis and reporting.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Support DMG team leads in delivering transformational change around the business
  • Support complex and high-priority projects, driving executional excellence, ensuring successful delivery of projects against strategic priorities Support DMG team leads in delivering transformational change around the business
  • Partner extensively with functional teams and vendor partners on key projects and reporting requirements
  • Manage sponsors and stakeholders with competing priorities, resourcing levels and time constraints across all typical project phases.
  • Partner with business managers and vendors to assess and streamline processes in order to mitigate risk or control issues and generate efficiencies.
  • Provide reporting support to ensure vendor(s) meet SLAs; attend weekly meetings and quarterly business reviews
  • Act as a point of escalation in resolving vendor conflict and service challenges
  • Data and analytics

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven track record of scoping a new project and driving its delivery on time and within budget
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to combine tactical and strategic thinking and work independently
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral; candidates should have comfort presenting and facilitating discussions
  • Detail oriented with the ability to quickly identify and learn pertinent information across wide range of businesses
  • Proven ability to lead by example, with a positive attitude
  • 3 - 5 years of project management experience
  • Experience in management consulting or the financial services industry - preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project & Visio or other business process management software
  • Bachelor's Degree

Pay Disclosure:

"The pay for this position starts at $105,000.00 to $125,000.00 Annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered."
