We are actively seeking an on-premises AWS Cloud Engineer to join our innovative team. If you join us, you will be challenged to build, deploy, manage, and administer cloud infrastructure designed to deliver complex software products in a production environment. Our ideal candidate is someone with approximately 3-5 years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience including developing and deploying repeatable processes, building tools, and infrastructure that enable the delivery of software in classified environments. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy new cloud applications and infrastructure that extend or replace existing capabilities with highly resilient serverless architectures with low operational costs Offer technical insights on configuration automation, deployment, and continuous integration technologies Collaborate with a team to build, manage, and secure cloud environments, including hybrid setups, in a reliable and repeatable manner Work with cross-functional teams of software engineers, machine learning engineers, and others Provide continuous maintenance, support, and improvements to the systems and platforms Create robust solutions that can keep up with the pace of software development Show a passion for continuous improvement and innovation Requirements: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience 3-5 years of hands-on experience configuring cloud VPCs, subnets, route tables, and gateways Proficiency in scaling applications with cloud-native technologies, and deploying code in AWS using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or Cloud Development Kit (CDK) Experience with serverless services such as AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, Event Bridge, DynamoDB, and serverless container orchestration solutions including Fargate, ECS and EKS Skilled in working with cloud-native technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and serverless cloud solutions, including securing environments per NIST 800-53 Experience with achieving customer accreditation of cloud solutions for highly sensitive systems Desired experience: Experience using the AWS CDK Security+ certification Experience developing and deploying containerized applications with Kubernetes, Rancher and ArgoCD Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Who is Expedition Technology?
