Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Analyst of a growing Birmingham based company. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research, financial modeling, due diligence, and market analysis to support the evaluation and execution of strategic mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute directly to the growth and success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research & Analysis - Conduct industry and market research to identify potential acquisition targets, market trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Financial Modeling - Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential M&A transactions, including valuation, synergies, and impact on financial performance.
  • Due Diligence - Support the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing information about target companies, including financial, operational, and legal aspects.
  • Transaction Support - Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, presentations, and other documents to facilitate decision-making by senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, public accounting, corporate development, private equity, management consulting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, strong communication and presentation abilities. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
