What You Will Do

In this role, you will be responsible for growing current Trimble Forestry software customer accounts and winning new customers. The Customer Sales Account Executive will be responsible for working with current customers to understand their business needs and uncover pain points, and demonstrating how Trimble can address their critical business needs whether it be through growth or expansion of the Trimble portfolio. You will help the customers end to end through their buying process, while working collaboratively with our solution consulting and product specialists.

  • Developing and closing medium and large contracts for Trimble Forestry software subscriptions from an assigned book of business. Emphasis will be placed on managing customer relationships for growth as well as identifying and converting new opportunities within the customer base.

  • Uncover and expand opportunities by working with multiple customer personas and expanding scope and relationships within our customer base

  • Understanding customer's needs and identifying sales opportunities by constantly building pipeline

  • Keeping up with product information and enhancements as well as relevant industry updates through collaboration with our product and product marketing teams

  • Research, develop, and maintain long and short range sales and territory plans

  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets (quota)

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • 3+ years of experience successfully software and solution selling

  • Advanced selling capability that showcases your commitment to strategy, customer relations, negotiation and ability to close

  • Exemplary presentation and communication across all levels of an organization.

  • Self driven, committed and social personality

  • A track record of meeting or exceeding an annual sales targets

  • Priority will be given to applicants with prior forest, pulp & paper and sawmill industry experience and/or software sales within the forest industry and ability to establish effective networks on top of their existing networks within the Forestry Industry.

  • Willingness and ability to travel within the United States and Canada (around 20-40%)

Salary+variable=130k -150k
