What You'll Do

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Support Admin join our Food and Beverage division.

In this role, you will provide essential support to the commercial sales team, assisting with daily operations and ensuring efficient processes. This position is pivotal in onboarding new employees, coordinating training programs, and managing administrative tasks to enhance sales productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Team Support: Provide business support to the Regional Sales Director, District Managers, and their teams.
  • Onboarding: Conduct onboarding sessions for all newly hired employees in the region, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Intern Program Coordination: Assist in onboarding the summer interns, including arranging their travel logistics.
  • Pricing and Shipping: Enter customer pricing and obtain freight quotes as required.
  • Safety Training Management: Enroll and track required and elective safety training, including customer-specific training.
  • Reporting: Generate standard and ad hoc reports from Salesforce as requested, updating account ownership and sales district alignment.
  • Supplier Forms Assistance: Support sales teams in completing and submitting supplier pre-qualification and vendor forms.
  • Contractor Onboarding: Manage temporary job postings and monitor contract end dates through Fieldglass.
  • Safety Hours Tracking: Track monthly hours and employee counts for non-plant and temporary employees for the Safety Team.
  • Purchase Requisitions: Create purchase requisitions through SAP as needed.
  • Customer Proposal Support: Assist with requests for certificates of insurance and other necessary documentation for customer proposals.
  • Lab and SIRS Requests: Help sales teams in creating Lab requests and SIRS submissions via Lotus Notes.
  • General Assistance: Provide support with additional tasks as needed, ensuring smooth operation within the sales department.
  • Administrative Backup: Serve as backup for administrative team members to maintain continuity of operations.
  • Meeting Coordination: Arrange off-site meetings such as district meetings, sales safety days, and regional meetings.

What You'll Bring

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Salesforce, and Lotus Notes.

  • Previous admin experience preferred
