What You'll Do

We are looking for a Business Development Manager specialized in poultry intervention. You will have a defined territory or industry to capture competitively held business and assigned an revenue growth target with a goal to expand market penetration for assigned region or customers in Food and Beverage industry.

  • Develop market intelligence and provide feedback to marketing and technology teams.
  • Develop and foster relationships with key executives and strategic customers.
  • Develops business development strategies and creates annual business development plans for relevant area to reach required business objectives and revenue.
  • Works closely with corporate account team to understand business requirements and market needs.
  • Recognizes new market segments and opportunities for business development, makes a calculation of returns and investment, and gains agreement for the investment, resources, and actions required for the developments.
  • Prioritizes market segment development activities and sets revenue targets

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of successful experience in business planning and execution in the General Foods/Poultry channel.
  • Experience is food safety and chemical sales.
  • Proven track record in a market with revenues of $50M+.
  • Prior national or major account responsibilities.
  • Work requires a significant amount of travel therefore a valid, clean driver's license is required.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including regular overnight travel
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science and Chemistry are preferred areas of study.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,300.00 and $143,220.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
