As a Bulk Loader you will be coordinating and planninf all bulk truck requirements for the Suffolk Site with the bulk command center / third party carriers, production and AMS team. in addition you will bw also managing the bulk tanker schedule on a daily basis, ensuring all Bills of Lading and required documents for bulk shipments.

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to effectively use the standard set of Solenis software tools, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
    * Ability to understand business priorities and make autonomous decisions in a dynamic work environment.
    * Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple, concurrent tasks effectively.
    * Action oriented, with proven root cause based problem-solving skills.
    * Strong analytical skills, with an orientation toward managing details.
    * Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Manufacturing to enable effective
    communication with internal (Production, Supply Chain) and external (carriers, suppliers) partners.
    * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional, multicultural team environment to achieve organizational objectives across a regional and global organization.
    * Ability to assimilate and apply new job-related information that varies in complexity in a timely manner.
    * Basic understanding of Solenis organization, and manufacturing and distribution
    processes

Experience

  • Working knowledge of Chemical business and minimum 3 years' experience working with bulk truck scheduling and third-party carriers preferred.Knowledge/Skills
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter; works independently under general supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Supply Chain or a related business function OR 8-10 years of related experience in Customer Care, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations or Production

Education:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Supply Chain or a related business function OR 8-10 years of related experience in Customer Care, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations or Production.
  • High School degree required
