IT Infrastructure Specialist

Daikin is looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team! The IT Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for administration and support of infrastructure implementations. You will provide direct technical support for all requirements in the planning, design, coordination, programming, and implementation of releases, upgrades, or changes to infrastructure / information systems, software, transaction monitors, and the range of products and productivity tools that support testing and production environments.

Location: Plymouth, MN - hybrid

A Day in the Life:

• Administer a small, uniform group of infrastructure components or assists in the administration of a larger system of infrastructure components
• Act as a front-line interface to IT and non-IT users, accepting trouble tickets, resolve simple tickets, dispatching more complex tickets to the appropriate IT Specialists
• Assist in taking system inventories and building documentation
• Participate as member of a project team and deliver infrastructure components according to requirements and timelines
• May participate in on-call duties on a weekly rotational basis
• Use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a variety of problems. Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
• Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

What you will Bring:

• Bachelors Degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years of infrastructure support experience
