Production Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for supporting the new version and production of licenses and software in Software Factory (SoFa), including product preparation, setup, and maintaining the database information and in-house media/hard-key production. Each day, you will monitor order process and provide related support to divisions. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting product development projects and related applications and business process enhancement projects. You will be mainly accountable for: *Acts as super user for MES application: Supports product development projects and related applications. *Data Management & Analysis: Collect, analyze, and visualize real-time manufacturing data using Power BI to support production, quality control, and inventory management. *Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and validation of MES applications to ensure reliable operation in a production environment. *Documentation & Training: Maintain thorough documentation of development processes, system configurations, and provide training to end-users on new applications and features.
Qualifications for the role
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in developing MES applications or related software development within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in programming
- Experience with SQL databases and data management.
- Familiarity with MES platforms
- Understanding of industrial automation systems and protocols (e.g., OPC, PLCs).
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, .NET Framework/Core, Java, and HTML5.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
