About the RoleThe Reliability and Maintenance Engineering team plays a vital role in our operational success in the distribution aspect of the business. Being able to identify risk of equipment failure and eliminate the presence of that risk is what our organization strives for. Seeking a proactive and self-driven reliability program management role to lead the reliability program for Fulfilment Center operations. This role will focus on developing programs and leading projects that will maximize life, reliability and operational performance of equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, robotics, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices and programs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Drive and promote safety culture across the organization
Serve as the primary conduit for both upward and downward communication with the Amazon/JLL Central Reliability team to all local teams
Project Manage network projects including solving critical network process gaps at scale across the account
Manage CMMS central leadership and centralized Reliability and Quality Engineers for the account
Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of reliability and CMMS initiatives, driving continuous improvement across the maintenance organization
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and applicable cross-functional teams to align reliability efforts with business goals and ensure seamless implementation of maintenance strategies
Identify potential failure points, assess risks, and develop mitigation plans to prevent disruptions and optimize overall reliability
Develop/own Reliability Program Manager (RPM) organizational structure, standard work and KPIs for the network
Own Root Cause Analysis program for network and drive process consistency across all BUs/leaders
Identify procedural gaps and implement solutions
Establish/maintain a reliability database for all critical programs and procedures
Provide engineering guidance to teams as needed to ensure maintenance goals are met
Develop a strong collaborative team-based environment
Perform regular deep dives/data analysis to understand key focus areas for improvement across network
Lead continuous improvement events and generate cost savings that exceed network performance goals
Handle flexible workload and be able to work autonomously with limited direction
Travel up to 50%

Basic QualificationsA completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 5+ years Amazon experience
Experience with computers, including MS Excel, Word and Office
Experience required using CMMS systems and reporting
Strong analytical skills to deep dive into data
Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas

Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering
7+ years of experience as a Reliability Engineer/Manager or equivalent
7+ years of experience with team management, budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/ customer relations
CMRP/PMP certification(s)
Relevant training/experience in MHE, Controls Systems, PIT as well as general building operations
Prefer experience managing teams in an industrial environment containing conveyance, process control and powered trucks
Experience with Preventive maintenance procedures, Industrial electrical, Industrial controls, and Industrial electronics & robotics
Experience in project management
Experience with leading and delivering technical training
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools such as:
5S
5Y
FMEA
PDCA
Value Stream Mapping
DMAIC
Run Charts
Pareto Analysis
Ability to turn complex compliance requirements into scalable processes
Ability to align, motivate and lead a team including creating accountability
Ability to lead others in a technical role and interact with all levels of management.
Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and relate them to others.
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication and presentation/facilitation skills
Demonstrated communication skills written and verbal including negotiation and conflict resolution
Six Sigma certification from accredited program
Root Cause Analysis formal training and facilitation experience
