Advantage Resourcing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team in West Monroe, LA. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in managing litigation cases, providing vital assistance with case preparation, discovery, document production, and trial coordination. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong legal knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $40k - $80k, based on experience

Shifts: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

In this role, you will assist attorneys through all stages of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, document production, and trial support. You will draft, proofread, and edit legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence while conducting legal research and analyzing case law to support attorneys' strategies. Additionally, you will organize, index, and maintain case files, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Managing the discovery process, including collecting, reviewing, and producing documents in compliance with legal standards, will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and court filings to meet deadlines, summarize depositions, trial transcripts, and other legal documents, and communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide case updates. Supporting attorneys in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, trial notebooks, and witness materials, as well as ensuring compliance with court rules and filing procedures, will also be essential to your success in this role.

Qualifications:



  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; paralegal certification preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in litigation support, with a strong focus on discovery and document production
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court systems
  • Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when drafting and reviewing documents
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
